The 6th Shears Academy Annual Graduation Evening was held in October 2011at the glamourous venue of The Warren In Hayes. With a turn out of over 300 people the event was a great success. Achieving graduates take to the stage to receive their City & Guilds certification.  Even with the larger venue it was another full house, thanks yet again to all who came to support and cheer their apprentices on in the Model Presentation!

 

 The stage presentation is the highlight of the event, apprentices presented their interpretations of the three themes: *Festival!*  *Vamp it Up!* and *Big is Beautiful!*.  The judges, Martin Kilton, Chairman of Joshua Galvin/Central Training Group, Karen Hull, Assessing Team Leader at K College, Ken Cooper, Shears Group Chairman and Mark Smith of Smith's Hairdressing (who acheived his own Level 2 & 3 Apprenticeship at Shears Academy) commended all 14 entrants highly on their very high standard of workmanship.....
